Green Eggs and Ham

Over the past couple of months I have occasionally read Green Eggs and Ham to my older three classes. They seem to like it, and we've talked about it a lot, so I think they get the idea of the book.

I decided they needed to try green eggs and ham. So I whipped some up on Monday morning.

 I gathered my kids, read the book, and then surprised them with a taste test. They all got a cup with a little bit, and a spoon. It was fun to watch their reactions, to see who would taste first, who refused to taste it at all, and to watch those brave ones encourage the others by saying "Son huevos!"

"Say, I like green eggs and ham, I do, I like them, Sam-I-Am!"
